HANOVER — SAP AG today announced upcoming activities with customers and partners at CeBIT 2014, being held March 10-14 in Hanover, Germany. This year, SAP partners will once again exhibit their solutions directly in the company’s 4,000 square-meter booth, located in hall 4 C04. At 27 demo stations, they will present solutions and technologies in innovation areas around the SAP HANA platform and SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA, as well as end-to-end enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions for small and midsize enterprises (SMEs) and industry and line-of-business offerings. On the central SAP stage, partners and customers will hold sessions explaining how SAP technology platforms help them move their businesses forward. Startups will present live demonstrations of how SAP solutions help their young companies achieve success.
“Our CeBIT 2014 motto, ‘Join the Team,’ is targeted at customers and partners, as well as startups, developers and young professionals — the event is a communications and networking platform to bring them all together,” said Jochen Wiessler, head of SME and Ecosystem in Germany, SAP Deutschland AG & Co. KG. “We also want to leverage the show to address new partners that work with our innovation platforms. Whether it is our cloud solutions, in-memory technology, analytics solutions or mobile apps, our platform technologies help companies and partners to adapt their business models to new market trends and turn their own innovative ideas into reality more rapidly.”
The centerpiece of the SAP stand in 2014 are three showrooms, called “golden rooms,” which will present innovative highlights from the SAP solution and service portfolio through product presentations, interactive information elements and customer projects. Gold sponsor partners Cisco/Intel, IBM and TDS/Fujitsu are integrated in the golden rooms for the first time and will present solutions based on SAP HANA and SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA, as well as real-life application scenarios by reference customers. The golden rooms include:
- SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA showroom, which will offer answers to the question of how the SAP Cloud can help simplify business processes and make them more flexible. The central showcase will demonstrate the use of a social customer replationship management (CRM) solution by SAP customer Nespresso.
- SAP HANA showroom, which will show how Big Data is transforming the economy and what opportunities companies can leverage using real-time scenarios. The central showcase is the cooperation between SAP and the German Soccer Association (DFB) to analyze player performance in real time.
- SAP Vision showroom, which will address questions such as “How will we work in the future? What will the factory of tomorrow look like? What challenges do Generation Y and Industry 4.0 pose?” The central showcase of this showroom is an innovative pump scenario that illustrates the possibilities of smart maintenance and service processes.
SAP partners will present solutions, services and technologies for large corporations as well as for SMEs relating to all innovation topics. These partners and members of the SAP Startup Focus program include:
