Consultant – Service Performance, Global People Services-HUM0002559
Role Description:
This position is a key start up position within Global People Services in General Motors, part of Global Business Services. Working within the Service Management area of a GBS organization, this position will be accountable for overseeing the overall performance of Global People Services as it relates to services being delivered to the Customer: Employee and Leader, expected deliverables committed to by People Services to Human Resources and internal Global People Services performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a standardized set of Service Level Agreements to be applied between Global People Services and Human Resources; HR Field and CoE.
- Develop internal Global People Services Key Performance Indicators.
- Work to develop and manage a technology system whereby key metrics can be tracked, changed and reported out on a global basis.
- Design a scorecard for use for report out to the Global Business Services and HR organizations.
- Build relationships with the GBS Regional Leads and Global Process Leads, learn and receive feedback on service model for each region.
- Work with each region and process to develop interim Service Level Agreements.
- Benchmark work with other companies through networks and also within General Motors functions. Share best practices.
- Develop a Global People Services governance structure with key client: GM Human Resources.
- Assess metrics to feed through to appropriate parties to enhance the Service Scope of Global People Services and key improvement project identification.
- Work with the GBS PFS group and other functions in GBS to align Service Performance strategy work.
- Gather feedback on services offered and adjust Service Model as appropriate.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in relevant disciplines or equivalent experience
- 3 + years of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services or Global Business Services environments
Perferred:
- 5 + years of experience in Human Resources, Shared Services or Global Business Services environments
- Vendor management experience
- Experience using following or related systems: MS Excel, SharePoint, SAP/Human Capital Management, data analysis software packages.
- Services center start-up experience
