About the General Motors IT Customer Relationship Management team:

This Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team works with several business and IT teams to plan and deliver IT innovations that provide General Motors with new capabilities in recognizing, understanding, and serving our customers. We collaborate closely with our business partners to develop the future strategy and associated roadmaps to achieve their mission-critical objectives

About the role:

The Business Analyst is accountable for building and maintaining relationships with key internal business teams. They are responsible for eliciting requirements/use cases and representing them to the Enterprise Solutions Delivery and Enterprise Sustain Services teams throughout the system development cycle for lead management. The analyst will also be responsible for managing business unit goals and objectives. The analyst will shape the definition of requirements to drive development and expansion of the platform as well as strongly influence goodness of fit, platform enhancements and deployment of GM priorities.

Candidate must have relevant experience on the Siebel platform and bring functional knowledge of the platform to form strategic business process alignment.

This position allows the freedom to challenge, suggest and implement processes/programs to improve customer satisfaction and generate sales.

Position Requirements:

- Apply business knowledge to develop and manage business requirements

- Provide communications support for GM Third Party Lead (TPL) program, Certified Lead Management Providers as well as other initiatives as requested

- Coordinate and facilitate Business Operational Reviews for lead management

- Manage change control by gathering business requirements and implanting changes, working with GM internal and external stakeholders

- Work with systems analyst to translate business requirements into technical specifications

- Develop deployment and migration plans including input and output interface feeds, data migration, mapping and conversions, business rule migration, data privacy and legal compliance, etc.

- Responsible for monitoring all lead sources

- Initiate a process of tracking all lead sources, consolidate marketable versus unmarketable, offer recommendations to scale and determine future lead source types

- Develop user acceptance test cases, track and monitor test results

- Develop user guides including training materials

- Understand business metrics, measures and targets to provide traceability throughout the organization

- Manage ongoing performance reviews of current US Lead providers and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve lead quality objectives

- Develop new concepts/approaches/pilot programs to optimize lead to sale opportunities for GM dealers

- Provide recommendations for system enhancements and cross-system integrations

- Develop cost reduction campaigns while streamlining processes


Minimum Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years in Lead Management, Lead Generation, or Digital Marketing

- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience/training

- Proficiencies with Siebel CRM platform deployments and business process re-engineering

- Knowledge of sales lead generation and processing

- Demonstrated experience in business relationship management, requirements gathering and definition, business case development, test case development, user guide development, change control process, system integration, technology roadmaps and business intelligence requirements gathering

- Ability to self-start, multi-task and stay organized

- Strong interpersonal skills, experience in working with business and IT teams and maintaining productive working relationships

- Experience with large B2B And B2C systems

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree preferred (MBA)

- Industry or technology certifications

- Experience deploying sales systems, or lead management systems

- Experience with complex marketing processes and system sources of data

- SQL and Lead Generation knowledge

- Internet search engine marketing

- Experience working in a large-team environment, with team members geographically, culturally and functionally dispersed

- Demonstrated experience in multiple software development disciplines (i.e. Agile & Iterative)
