General Motors is in the midst of one the world’s largest SAP implementations. The global SAP implementation is a key enabler for the end to end transformation of GM’s global business, including Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA). GM is seeking an outstanding individuals to join the CCA SAP Implementation Team to drive the deployment of our Global Aftersales Template across the company. This position is responsible for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) responsibilities related to SAP during deployment and sustaining the business .



This position will report to the Global CCA Business Leader.



Responsibilities:

•Subject matter expert within the Global Center of Excellence for the business on the Governance, Risk and Compliance Module of SAP



•Establish the Process Risk Management Strategy and work with IT to implement



•Support the Global Business Leads to design SAP roles

• Work with the Global Business Leads and OCM to map Business roles

• Perform Segregation of Duty (SOD) analysis on roles



• Assist in the developing mitigating controls related to SOD issues (roles and user level)

• Work with the Global Business to develop Firefighter Roles

• Support the Firefighter IDs process – approval process and log review

• Maintain and approve changes to roles design

• Maintain and update role mapping with t code updates (Point of Contact with the Global Business Lead)

• Update rule set with new transaction codes and roles

• Acts as the liaison with GM Audit Services

• Assist with user training (supports the Organizational Change Management TCM team)

Basic Required Skills:

• Demonstrated process improvements skills and ability to quickly understand complex transactions and their impact controls and processes.

• Ability to challenge the "status quo" and embrace change.

• Ability to multi-task within restricted time constraints and prioritize assignments

• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting, financial controls and Sarbanes Oxley principles

• Skilled in MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, MS Visio, and PowerPoint

• Highly developed oral and written communications skills

• Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally.

• Project and Change management skills

Years Experience Required

3-5 control experience

Additional experience Preferred: SAP - GRC

Exposure to SOX and Risk Management Program also preferred



Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, IT

• MBA preferred
