SAP Global Finance Transformation Projects – Accounts Payable Analyst



Job Description:



The successful execution of eSAP Global Finance Transformation in the Accounts Payable space will require a self-starter-type analyst who is motivated, engaged, and highly organized, along with strong analytic and technical skills.



This individual will demonstrate a high level of initiative, independent judgment, decision-making, accuracy and creativity in order to drive the eSAP Global Finance Transformation Project through the Realization and Business Deployment phases.



One analyst is required in the Accounts Payable areas of expertise:



- Accounts Payable, including either internal GM Accounts Payable process knowledge or external knowledge of SAP/OpenText functionality in the areas of invoice optical character recognition and validation, invoice-GR-PO matching and approval workflow, and payment processing



Activities during these phases will include:



Role Design



- Assist with the development of end-to-end business roles and the mapping of SAP tcodes to roles to ensure comprehensive access for performing business functions without introducing segregation of duty conflicts

- Work with business process owners to assign end users to SAP business roles needed to perform their jobs, establishing the appropriate employee access while also maintaining controls and policy compliance



Testing



- Develop System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test plan to ensure comprehensive testing of all functionality as outlined in the SAP Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)

- Work with IT Legacy Developers and IT SAP Functional Teams to establish consistency and repeatability in SIT and UAT testing

- Work with business process owners to identify and train appropriate UAT testers and to manage the UAT test plan

- Ensure data conversions and mock loads are comprehensive and accurate to facilitate testing

- Ensure testing is completed with production-intent business roles to avoid security issues at business go-live

- Work with IT Legacy Developers and IT SAP Functional Teams to manage resolution of any identified system defects



Training



- Define training requirements associated with each business role

- Work with IT Training Team and SAP Functional Teams to create global training curriculum

- Create/validate accurate training content, including Overview Summaries, detailed SAP Business Process Procedures, and Quick Reference Guides

- Support staging the training environment with relevant business data

- Support local training delivery planning and execution

- Communication and Organization Change Management

- Identify key stakeholders and end users through an Organization Impact Assessment, and execute plans to improve stakeholder engagement

- Assess the level of process and role changes to impacted organizations, and execute plans to prepare employees in advance of go-live through communication campaigns

- Work with business process owners to establish a Change Agent Network to engage impacted employees and to improve end user readiness

- Complete Change Readiness Assessment to ensure that business leadership is aligned, committed and accountable, and that end users are engaged, trained and ready for business deployment

Basic Skills and Competencies Required:



· Undergraduate or Master’s degree(s) with a major in business or technology related degrees or equivalent experience.



· Strong internal GM process knowledge or external SAP knowledge in the area of Accounts Payable



· Solid knowledge of Internal Controls



· Experience managing teams and deliverables



· Problem solving and analytical abilities



· Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork and partnerships



· Strong oral and written communication



· Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints



· Ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally



· Ability to perform under tight deadlines
