SAP America was recently named in the 2017 Fortune Best Workplaces in the Bay Area, a notable recognition that places SAP among the top large companies in Silicon Valley and exemplifies the quality of leadership, workplace diversity, and vibrancy of culture.
SAP came in at #16 on the list among Silicon Valley’s most innovative companies that are rethinking business processes, human resources, and corporate social responsibility in ways that defy the definition of traditional corporate America.
“In a highly competitive market, SAP continues to receive recognition for our workplace culture, diversity, leadership, and innovation,” said Sam Yen, Managing Director, SAP Silicon Valley. “I’m proud that SAP has yet again earned another prestigious award that will continue to shape our story and community.”
“SAP in Silicon Valley is at the intersection of culture and innovation, fostered by the diversity of thought from the backgrounds of our employees and the startup mindset of our acquisitions,” said Scott Leatherman, chief operating officer, SAP Labs US. “SAP Silicon Valley is a welcoming, inspiring, and an exponential place to be and grow your career.”
The Best Workplaces in the Bay Area is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and Fortune. This recognition is a result of SAP’s participation in the Great Place to Work survey that also put SAP on several other Best Place to Work lists including Diversity, Technology, Parents, Giving Back, and most recently Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list, which SAP came in at #59.
“We truly want to help the world run better, and I love that about my company,” said one SAP employee in the Best Place to Work survey. “We are heavily involved in local community activities around the globe, including many social sabbaticals that donate weeks at a time from our experts in different areas. Our solutions are used by the best in each industry to be the best that they can be. I like being a part of that.”
SAP Silicon Valley continues to thrive as a hub of innovation and culture for our employees, customers, partners, and local community. We’re proud to be listed amongst our peers in technology and invite you to celebrate with us in this accomplishment.
